Mit der Unterstützung mehrerer Institutionen und der lokalen Bevölkerung gelang es dem Verein «Mirador e.V.», die Notfall- und Geburtsambulanz «Renate Hänsler – Klinik Chocruz» zu errichten.

In March 2012 the organization «Mirador» with the support of the local population and students from a German university built in Chocruz in the northeast of Guatemala, the emergency and maternity ambulance «Renate Hänsler-Ambulance Chocruz». In June the «Asociación Manos Abiertas» helped to train two midwives who began to attend.

In July 2010, the organization «Mirador», a public utility and non-profit association in Germany, was founded with the aim of organizing and implementing projects to improve living conditions.
